Bluffton’s Asian restaurants are almost all in shopping centers off the town’s two big roads. Buckwalter has Hong Kong Chinese, Fancy Sushi and Chin Dynasty within a short walk of each other on Buckwalter Parkway and Buckwalter Place Boulevard. Fording Island Road near Tanger Outlets has Jade Garden, Saigon Cafe and Two Thai Cuisine, and Baylor Drive has China Wok and VN Pho.
How we made this list. Our starting point was OpenStreetMap records inside Bluffton, the same data behind our local directory. OpenStreetMap tags only two Bluffton places as Chinese or Japanese, so we added restaurants from the state’s SC Food Grades inspection records whose own website gives a Bluffton address, and checked each one against that site on Oct. 12, 2026. The list covers Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese restaurants; supermarket sushi counters are left out. It is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it.
