Bluffton’s pizza is spread along the town’s main roads, not in one place. Old Town has two independent shops, Dough Boys on May River Road and Local Pie on the Promenade. The Bluffton Road and Fording Island Road stretch has Giuseppi’s and Mellow Mushroom, and Buckwalter Place, Belfair Towne Village and New Riverside each have their own.

How we made this list. Our starting point was OpenStreetMap records inside Bluffton, the same data behind our local directory. OpenStreetMap tags only two Bluffton pizza places, so we added restaurants from the state’s SC Food Grades inspection records whose own website lists pizza at a Bluffton address, and checked each one against that site on Oct. 12, 2026. The places

Domino’s is the national delivery chain. Its Plantation Park Drive store takes carryout and delivery orders online, with the chain’s range of crusts plus wings and pasta.

Dough Boys Pizza on May River Road in Old Town says it makes its recipes from scratch, with dough from organic spring wheat flour. The menu runs to pizza, chopped salads, specialty subs and wings. It opens at 3 p.m. on weekdays and Saturday and at noon on Sunday.

Giuseppi’s Pizza & Pasta House has served pizza, fresh pasta, wings and sandwiches for more than 30 years, by its own account. Its Bluffton restaurant is on Bluffton Road, with a second restaurant on Hilton Head Island.

Local Pie is a Lowcountry pizza company with two Bluffton restaurants. The Old Town restaurant on the Promenade has a full bar and takes reservations on Resy; the New Riverside restaurant at Parkside Commons is closed Mondays and runs a weekday happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m.

Mellow Mushroom is a pizza chain. Its Bluffton restaurant sits at Fording Island Road and Simmonsville Road, its site says, and the location page lists a patio, afternoon food specials from 3 to 6 p.m. and drink specials from 4 to 7 p.m.

New York City Pizza has two Bluffton restaurants, in Belfair Towne Village off Fording Island Road and at Buckwalter Place, plus two on Hilton Head Island. Both Bluffton locations keep the same hours.

Papa John’s is the national delivery chain. Its Baylor Drive store lists separate carryout and delivery hours and stays open to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Pizza Hut has two Bluffton stores, one on Burnt Church Road and one on Discovery Drive in Buckwalter, both for delivery and carryout. The Burnt Church Road store keeps late hours later in the week.

The Upper Crust on William Pope Drive calls itself a pizza, subs and pasta shop. Its pizzas come with chips or a side upgrade, and it also sells take-and-bake pizzas. It opens only in the evening on Saturday and is closed Sunday.
